About Us

The Northeast region of the American Academy of Religion (AAR-NE) is a regional society for scholars of religion in the northeastern United States. We are organized to promote solidarity and help our members thrive in their careers as academics, scholars, and community members. We organize a regional conference that takes place each year as well as ongoing support units focused on research, coworking, and community engagement. We'd love for you to join our work!
